{"id":19463,"date":"2026-07-23T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/?p=19463"},"modified":"2026-08-03T10:00:34","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T08:00:34","slug":"229-dal-current-sensitive-al-dual-protection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2026\/07\/23\/229-dal-current-sensitive-al-dual-protection\/","title":{"rendered":"#229 DAL CURRENT SENSITIVE AL DUAL PROTECTION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a73ac191c768eb3211a7392df572ac93 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Un&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/protettori-termici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">protettore termico<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u00e8 un&nbsp;<strong>dispositivo di protezione<\/strong>&nbsp;che si aziona in funzione della temperatura, grazie al&nbsp;<strong>bimetallo&nbsp;<\/strong>e al&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/09\/13\/2-che-cosa-provoca-lapertura-e-la-chiusura-dei-contatti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">diverso coefficiente di dilatazione dei metalli che lo compongono<\/a><\/strong>. Pertanto, nel momento in cui la temperatura aumenta e raggiunge la soglia su cui \u00e8 tarato il protettore, questo apre i contatti generando l&#8217;intervento. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c4f2689c3c1080174aca82f1d402625d wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">L\u2019intervento \u00e8 causato, come si diceva, dalla dilatazione termica dei metalli, vale a dire all\u2019aumento del loro volume in funzione della variazione della temperatura. Si tratta di un processo fisico che si aziona nel momento in cui i metalli percepiscono la temperatura di dilatazione. \u00c8 importante sottolineare questo concetto, vale a dire la percezione che i metalli hanno di una temperatura. Ci tengo a evidenziare questo concetto per chiarire che un metallo si dilata sulla base della temperatura che rileva, non in funzione della temperatura ambiente. Bisogna infatti considerare che potrebbero esserci fattori che, indipendentemente dalla temperatura dell\u2019ambiente o pi\u00f9 in generale di una macchina, vanno a influenzare la temperatura di un metallo. Uno di questi \u00e8 la corrente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-dc7fed6bf40895d01d306cb4b99cd123 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Per effetto della Legge di Joule, la corrente si trasforma in calore. Ne consegue che un aumento della corrente di lavoro andr\u00e0 a generare un aumento del calore che sar\u00e0 rilevato dal bimetallo con la conseguente apertura dei contatti. Questo potrebbe significare ipoteticamente che un protettore che \u00e8 costruito per intervenire a 100\u00b0C, in seguito all\u2019aumento della corrente di lavoro, ad esempio a 6A, potrebbe intervenire a 80\u00b0C. Ma questo non significa che sia un prodotto poco preciso e di bassa qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-aca70c4dc2fb3569eb53ee7f70afa9cd wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Alcuni protettori termici sono costruiti in modo tale che la corrente non attraversi i contatti. Sono appunto strettamente termici e l\u2019aumento della corrente di lavoro incide molto poco sull\u2019intervento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-90694d0bc2b0775b34733feef4d928ba wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Esistono poi i protettori termici termo-amperometrici, perch\u00e9 sensibili alla corrente (current sensitive) che, sfruttando questa caratteristica, vengono definiti anche Dual Protection, a doppia protezione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6c72a5b8776d7af7275ff4401ef57bb5 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Si capisce facilmente che la protezione primaria \u00e8 quella termica, quindi basata sulla temperatura, ma la secondaria \u00e8 la protezione dagli eccessi di corrente. Si tratta per\u00f2 di una protezione indiretta, perch\u00e9 il principio di azionamento resta il bimetallo. Questo interviene quando raggiungiamo una determinata temperatura, ad esempio i 100\u00b0C citati prima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a9fd93f5ca57e531469870152737bca4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Per contro potrei trovarmi nella necessit\u00e0 di avere un dispositivo che mi possa garantire di non andare mai oltre una determinata corrente. Ad esempio, per restare al nostro ipotetico caso, ai 6A, e cos\u00ec, utilizzando il medesimo protettore, questo interverrebbe a 80\u00b0C. Diventano cos\u00ec questi i due valori che ci interessano, sapere che il protettore potrebbe arrivare a 80\u00b0C e che quando interviene \u00e8 perch\u00e9 abbiamo raggiunto i 6A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a3ef794719fe258fa4a2d9b552d3bd2b wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#222222;font-size:16px\">Quando si sviluppa un progetto, se serve orientarlo sulla protezione dai picchi di corrente, allora come prima cosa sar\u00e0 necessario considerare la temperatura ambiente di lavoro, per esempio 70\u00b0C. Poi valutiamo la temperatura massima che per un periodo di tempo limitato pu\u00f2 essere sostenuta dai materiali che compongono la nostra apparecchiatura, ad esempio 150\u00b0C. Comunque, appunto, consideriamo che utilizzando un protettore tarato su una temperatura di 100\u00b0C interverr\u00e0 a 6A presumibilmente intorno agli 80\u00b0C. Ecco che utilizzando un termoamperometrico a 100\u00b0C, il nostro protettore aprir\u00e0 i contatti a 6A.
