Se un materiale ha un basso valore di conduttivit\u00e0 elettrica significa che la sua capacit\u00e0 di trasmettere corrente \u00e8 limitata. E&#8217; questo il caso dei materiali isolanti, si pensi ad esempio a\u00a0<strong>vetro\u00a0<\/strong>o\u00a0<strong>plastica<\/strong>. Al contrario, i materiali con alto valore di conduttivit\u00e0 elettrica, come i\u00a0<strong>metalli\u00a0<\/strong>(soprattutto\u00a0<strong>argento<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>rame<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>oro\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>alluminio<\/strong>), <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2026\/01\/22\/203-conduttivita-elettrica\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2026\/01\/22\/203-conduttivita-elettrica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>permettono il passaggio agevole della corrente elettrica con una minima resistenza<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Questi valori devono essere sempre presi in considerazione con la massima attenzione quando si sviluppano progetti nuovi. In modo particolare se si parla di dispositivi di sicurezza termica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"m_-2042668966838903109isPasted\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Abbiamo visto che i metalli con la pi\u00f9 alta conduttivit\u00e0 elettrica sono prevalentemente i\u00a0<strong>metalli preziosi<\/strong>\u00a0e in modo particolare l\u2019<strong>oro<\/strong>. In certe applicazioni l&#8217;oro \u00e8 richiesto in quantit\u00e0 minime per garantire una protezione da eventuali ossidazioni e assicurare il passaggio di correnti di pochi\u00a0<strong>milliampere<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/07\/14\/43-contatti-in-oro\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/07\/14\/43-contatti-in-oro\/\"><strong>ad esempio per\u00a0trasmettere un segnale<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Una seconda caratteristica che deve essere presa in considerazione nella scelta dei metalli \u00e8 la\u00a0<strong>conduttivit\u00e0 termica<\/strong>. Vale a dire la\u00a0<strong>capacit\u00e0 di un metallo di condurre calore<\/strong>. Questa \u00e8 una peculiarit\u00e0 molto importante nei materiali che compongono i nostri dispositivi di sicurezza termica, perch\u00e9 trasmettere calore in tempi brevi significa poter intervenire con tempistiche ristrette e avere\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/10\/21\/8-l-importanza-della-posizione\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/10\/21\/8-l-importanza-della-posizione\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">maggiori possibilit\u00e0 di proteggere una macchina<\/a><\/strong>. Tutto questo per\u00f2 deve confrontarsi e rispettare il<strong>\u00a0rapporto qualit\u00e0\/prezzo<\/strong>.\u00a0Deve inoltre trovare il giusto bilanciamento che renda la scelta sostenibile. Per questo motivo i principali materiali utilizzati per la produzione dei sensori sono quasi sempre\u00a0<strong>rame<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>ottone\u00a0<\/strong>o\u00a0<strong>alluminio<\/strong>. Proviamo ad analizzare qualche esempio pratico:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-bimetallici\/#tk24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati bimetallici<\/strong><\/a><strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>detti anche termostati a contatto, proprio perch\u00e9 rilevano la temperatura per contatto diretto con il punto preciso che sono chiamati a controllare. Il calore si propaga e la base del termostato si riscalda trasferendo poi il calore all\u2019interno del corpo cilindrico <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/06\/09\/38-temperatura-ambiente\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/06\/09\/38-temperatura-ambiente\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>dove \u00e8 posizionato il bimetallo<\/strong><\/a>. La base pi\u00f9 comune \u00e8 in alluminio e il termostato \u00e8 fissato con una<strong>\u00a0flangia girevole<\/strong>, con una\u00a0<strong>staffetta separata<\/strong>\u00a0o con soluzioni sviluppate direttamente dai clienti. In alternativa, i termostati bimetallici possono venire predisposti per essere avvitati direttamente sull\u2019applicazione. Per questo vengono generalmente dotati di una base esagonale con vite di fissaggio, normalmente un filetto\u00a0<strong>M4 x 6 mm<\/strong>. La base e la vite sono costruite quasi sempre in ottone, con alcune eccezioni in cui viene utilizzato l\u2019alluminio.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"397\" src=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici.jpg\" alt=\"Conduttivit\u00e0 termica\" class=\"wp-image-13508\" style=\"width:700px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici.jpg 700w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici-300x170.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>&#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-a-bulbo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati a bulbo<\/strong><\/a><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0questo dispositivo \u00e8 composto da un corpo, un alberino, un capillare e un sensore, <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/05\/19\/36-termostati-a-bulbo\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/05\/19\/36-termostati-a-bulbo\/\"><strong>detto anche bulbo<\/strong><\/a>. Per questo motivo molto spesso i sensori vengono inseriti in un bulbo protettivo, a volte in rame, ma molto spesso in acciaio inox\u00a0<strong><em>AISI 304<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0o\u00a0<strong><em>AISI 316<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in base all\u2019applicazione finale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In alcuni casi \u00e8 richiesto un isolamento elettrico e quindi il bulbo viene protetto da una guaina isolante, in genere termorestringente. A volte vengono prodotti con materiali plastici, soprattutto se devono lavorare a basse temperature e immersi in liquidi. In questo caso per\u00f2 bisogna considerare che un isolamento termico porta a un ritardo nella lettura della temperatura.
