Da allora l\u2019applicazione del bimetallo e del <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/09\/13\/2-che-cosa-provoca-lapertura-e-la-chiusura-dei-contatti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>principio della dilatazione dei metalli<\/strong><\/a> ha trovato una vasta applicazione prevalentemente nel mondo del controllo della temperatura sviluppando diversi tipi di dispositivi azionati da una lama (o un disco) a base bimetallica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Il principio \u00e8 il medesimo per tutti. Si tratta di una lamina composta da due diversi metalli con due diversi coefficienti di dilatazione, che sono sensibili al variare della temperatura, che aumentando provoca la dilatazione dei metalli. E in forza della differenza dei loro coefficienti di dilatazione, andr\u00e0 a piegarsi, azionando cos\u00ec un sistema di apertura (o chiusura) dei contatti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">A seconda della dimensione o della forma del disco o della lamina bimetallica avremo prodotti diversi, con diverse prestazioni e diverse applicazioni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Proviamo a vedere velocemente i principali tipi di dispositivi bimetallici:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-bimetallici\/#tk24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati bimetallici<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Le principali applicazioni sono nel mondo dell\u2019elettrodomestico (anche professionale) e delle resistenze elettriche. Ad azionare questo dispositivo \u00e8 un disco bimetallico che pu\u00f2 avere la dimensione di\u00a0<strong>\u00bd\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0o di\u00a0<strong>\u00be\u201d<\/strong>. I primi lavorano dai\u00a0<strong>10A\u00a0<\/strong>ai\u00a0<strong>16A<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-bimetallici\/#tk24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>TK24<\/strong><\/a>), mentre la versione pi\u00f9 grossa pu\u00f2 supportare anche una corrente di lavoro di\u00a0<strong>40A\u00a0<\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-bimetallici\/#ast33\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>AST33<\/strong><\/a>). I termostati bimetallici con disco da mezzo pollice hanno la funzione di lavorare anche come regolatori di temperatura. Per questo devono poter garantire i\u00a0<strong>100.000 cicli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/protettori-termici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Protettori termici<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Questi componenti trovano larga applicazione nel mondo dei motori elettrici, dei trasformatori, delle resistenze, e delle pompe, da quelle sommerse, a quelle a vibrazione. Hanno dimensioni piuttosto compatte ed esistono sia <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/03\/17\/27-la-miniaturizzazione-dei-protettori-termici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>modelli di protettori miniaturizzati<\/strong><\/a> che ad alta portata, fino a\u00a0<strong>100A<\/strong>, che di conseguenza avranno dimensioni pi\u00f9 importanti. I protettori termici vengono utilizzati, lo dice la parola stessa, per proteggere una macchina o un\u2019apparecchiatura. Per questo motivo <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/11\/17\/58-cicli-la-vita-di-un-termostato\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>vengono garantiti per\u00a010 mila cicli<\/strong><\/a>. Le dimensioni non sono di certo il loro punto di forza, e anche la portata, che non va oltre i\u00a0<strong>5A<\/strong>. Ma questi componenti garantiscono un\u2019altissima affidabilit\u00e0 sia sotto il punto di vista della precisione, che sotto quello della durata che garantisce i\u00a0<strong>100.000 cicli<\/strong>. In aggiunta, vengono garantiti (unico produttore a farlo) anche\u00a0<strong>1 milione di cicli meccanici<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-in-aria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati in aria<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Di piccole dimensioni, si utilizzano prevalentemente come prima sicurezza sulle <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2025\/05\/08\/171-protezioni-termiche-per-resistenze-in-mica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>resistenze elettriche in\u00a0<em>mica<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Il bimetallo \u00e8 posizionato, come si usa dire, a vista e questo rende il tempo di lettura della temperatura estremamente veloce, e con l\u2019assenza di potenziali ritardi termici. Sono per\u00f2, dall\u2019altro punto di vista, privi di qualsiasi tipo di protezione da eventuali agenti esterni e ad alto rischio di sedimentazione di <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/11\/03\/56-polvere-tra-i-contatti-e-conducibilita-elettrica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>polveri tra i contatti<\/strong><\/a>. Lavorando come sicurezza, in genere affiancata da un termofusibile, devono garantire solo\u00a0<strong>10.000 cicli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-regolabili\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati regolabili<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2023\/04\/20\/78-tkp-il-termostato-regolabile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Questo prodotto \u00e8 tuttora molto utilizzato<\/strong><\/a> nei ferri da stiro e in alcuni tipi di resistenze elettriche, le fasce scalda fusti. Tramite un alberino rotabile \u00e8 possibile scegliere la temperatura d\u2019intervento.
