Letteralmente la traduzione sarebbe temporizzatore di sbrinamento. Ed \u00e8 esattamente la funzione che ha questo componente che viene utilizzato nei cosiddetti frigoriferi<em>\u00a0no-frost<\/em>, praticamente che non ghiacciano.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Si accende ciclicamente e per un tempo prestabilito in questo modo si elimina la brina senza dover intervenire manualmente. La rotazione di una piccola manopola consente al timer di avviare il funzionamento della resistenza che inizia a scaldare e chiaramente sospende qualsiasi funzione di raffreddamento. Questo \u00e8 il cosiddetto sistema di sbrinamento automatico.
