{"id":13782,"date":"2022-11-17T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/?p=13782"},"modified":"2026-06-03T10:52:28","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T08:52:28","slug":"58-cicli-la-vita-di-un-termostato","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/11\/17\/58-cicli-la-vita-di-un-termostato\/","title":{"rendered":"#58 &#8211; Cicli: la vita di un termostato"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Oggi mi riallaccio brevemente a quanto accennato la scorsa settimana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Abbiamo ribadito che il funzionamento dei dispositivi bimetallici si basa sul diverso <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/09\/13\/2-che-cosa-provoca-lapertura-e-la-chiusura-dei-contatti-in-un-dispositivo-bimetallico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>coefficiente di dilatazione dei metalli<\/strong><\/a> che compongono il disco bimetallico, e che il processo di deformazione del disco (il quale provoca l\u2019apertura dei contatti e il successivo ritorno alla posizione originale) che porta al <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/10\/20\/54-differenziale-e-ripristino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ripristino<\/strong><\/a>, viene definito\u00a0ciclo, quindi Apre\/Chiude o, come dicevamo, <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/11\/10\/57-apertura-e-chiusura-dei-contatti-o-on-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>On\/Off<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">I\u00a0cicli\u00a0possono essere elettrici o meccanici. Nel primo caso l\u2019intervento blocca il passaggio di corrente. Il ciclo meccanico si verifica invece quando il dispositivo \u00e8 a riposo, ma l\u2019ambiente in cui si trova raggiunge la temperatura d\u2019intervento (<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/12\/09\/15-cicli-elettrici-e-cicli-meccanici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Cicli elettrici e cicli meccanici<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Il continuo ripetersi dei\u00a0cicli\u00a0nel tempo rappresenta la\u00a0vita\u00a0del termostato che si esprime in numero di\u00a0cicli.\u00a0Questo potrebbe, nell\u2019arco del tempo, anche arrivare al suo naturale esaurimento, compiendo l\u2019ultimo intervento oppure l\u2019ultimo ripristino; <a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2021\/10\/07\/6-il-termostato-muore-aperto-o-chiuso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>questo \u00e8 impossibile da sapere<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">I\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/protettori-termici\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>protettori termici<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0lavorano come dispositivi di sicurezza. Il loro compito \u00e9 quello di proteggere l\u2019apparecchiatura da un eventuale surriscaldamento e, anche se le omologazioni richiedono 10.000\u00a0cicli, in realt\u00e0 sar\u00e0 molto difficile che realmente il protettore arrivi a fine\u00a0vita. Se non in qualche particolare caso, come quello in cui il motore resti col rotore bloccato. Avremo modo di vedere in futuro questa fattispecie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Il numero di\u00a0cicli\u00a0diventa molto importante quando un\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-bimetallici\/#tk24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Termostati bimetallici<\/strong><\/a>, o a maggior ragione un\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/termostati-a-bulbo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>termostato a bulbo<\/strong><\/a>, vengono utilizzati come regolatori di temperatura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"397\" src=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici.jpg\" alt=\"cicli\" class=\"wp-image-13508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici.jpg 700w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Bimetallici-300x170.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I cicli nei bimetallici e nei termostati a bulbo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In questo caso \u00e8 fondamentale che si rispettino i 100.000&nbsp;cicli&nbsp;minimi che vengono generalmente garantiti dai costruttori alle rispettive portate. Per i termostati bimetallici la portata \u00e8 di <em>10A 250V<\/em> e per i termostati a bulbo ci si aspetta un minimo di <em>16A 250V<\/em>. In realt\u00e0 mi \u00e8 capitato di vedere un produttore europeo di termostati a bulbo garantire solo 50.000&nbsp;cicli, ma francamente non lo considero idoneo a tutte le applicazioni. Invito sempre i responsabili tecnici a verificare il numero di&nbsp;cicli&nbsp;che vengono dichiarati. Sui cataloghi e sulle schede tecniche, ma anche nei certificati di omologazione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Perch\u00e9 cos\u00ec tanti&nbsp;cicli? Semplicemente perch\u00e9 questi dispositivi vengono spesso utilizzati come regolatori di temperatura. Ci\u00f2 significa che il loro compito \u00e8 quello di garantire che la temperatura venga costantemente mantenuta all\u2019interno di certi parametri. Rappresentano una barriera che la temperatura, costantemente alimentata e quindi in potenziale continuo aumento, non deve oltrepassare. Pensiamo a un forno. Ruotiamo il termostato a bulbo sulla temperatura scelta, la corrente alimenta la macchina, la resistenza si scalda, la temperatura aumenta e raggiunta la soglia sulla quale abbiamo impostato il termostato a bulbo, si aprono i contatti e tutto si ferma. Poi la temperatura diminuisce, nei tempi previsti dal progetto, e il termostato si riarma, sempre in accordo con quanto gi\u00e0 stabilito dal produttore, in questo caso del forno. Di conseguenza la temperatura aumenta finch\u00e9 non raggiunger\u00e0 nuovamente la soglia d\u2019intervento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"376\" src=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/TermostatiBULBO.jpg\" alt=\"cicli\" class=\"wp-image-13783\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/TermostatiBULBO.jpg 700w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/TermostatiBULBO-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Ipotizziamo un termostato a bulbo regolabile 50-320\u00b0C, e supponiamo che venga impostato alla temperatura massima: 320\u00b0C. Raggiunta tale temperatura il termostato interviene, i contatti si aprono e il forno non viene alimentato. Ma la temperatura ambiente diminuir\u00e0 gradualmente e fino a che non si raggiunger\u00e0 la soglia di ripristino, che in questo caso possiamo ipotizzare intorno ai 300\u00b0C. Solo a quel punto il forno torner\u00e0 ad alimentarsi. Ma se invece parliamo di un forno professionale, che lavora costantemente per tutta la giornata, diventa facile capire che i&nbsp;cicli&nbsp;a fine lavoro saranno stati numerosi. Moltiplicati per i giorni, i mesi e gli anni, raggiungeranno sicuramente il famoso ultimo&nbsp;ciclo. Ecco perch\u00e9 devono essere realmente garantiti i 100.000&nbsp;cicli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Un\u2019ultima considerazione la voglio fare per i\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/temperature-power-sensors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>TPS<\/strong><\/a>, che abbiamo gi\u00e0 incontrato. Questi componenti, lavorando a basse temperature, possono essere soggetti ad interventi anche a freddo, quindi ai sopracitati\u00a0cicli\u00a0meccanici.
