Come i&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/ptc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PTC<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/01\/27\/20-termistori-ptc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">R&amp;D Social \u2013 Articolo 20<\/a>) e i&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/ptc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KTY<\/a><\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/02\/03\/21-sensori-kty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">R&amp;D Social \u2013 Articolo 21<\/a>), anche le&nbsp;termoresistenze&nbsp;<strong>RTD<\/strong>&nbsp;sono caratterizzate da un coefficiente di temperatura positivo, vale a dire da un aumento della resistenza in funzione dell\u2019aumento della temperatura. La particolarit\u00e0 degli&nbsp;<strong>RTD<\/strong>&nbsp;sta nella crescita costante della resistenza tale da garantire una lettura lineare, veloce e precisa in un range di utilizzo che va da -200\u00b0C a +850\u00b0C. L\u2019Ingegnere Sir&nbsp;<em>Charles William Siemens<\/em>&nbsp;(1823 \u2013 1883), prussiano, naturalizzato britannico, e successivamente tra i fondatori del potente gruppo SIEMENS, descrisse durante una lezione presso la&nbsp;<em>Royal Society<\/em>&nbsp;di Londra il primo pirometro fondato sulla resistenza elettrica di un filo di Platino avvolto.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">In seguito fu il fisico inglese<em>&nbsp;Hugh Longbourne Callendar<\/em>&nbsp;(1863 &#8211; 1930)&nbsp;che per primo studi\u00f2 e svilupp\u00f2 il &#8220;<strong>Termometro a resistenza di Platino<\/strong>&#8220;. Questo port\u00f2 alla creazione di uno strumento di lettura della temperatura estremamente preciso, basato sulla variazione del valore di resistenza di un metallo quando varia la temperatura a cui \u00e8 sottoposto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Il metallo risultato pi\u00f9 idoneo per questo tipo di sensore \u00e8 il Platino (Pt) la cui resistenza nominale ha un valore di 100 Ohm a 0\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Per questo motivo le&nbsp;termoresistenze&nbsp;<strong>RTD<\/strong>&nbsp;sono spesso conosciute come sensori Pt, ai quali viene convenzionalmente aggiunto il valore di resistenza a 0\u00b0C.
