Dopo avere parlato dei&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/2022\/01\/27\/20-termistori-ptc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>termistori&nbsp;PTC<\/strong><\/a> affronteremo i&nbsp;<strong>termistori&nbsp;NTC<\/strong>&nbsp;(<em>Negative Temperature Coefficient<\/em>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Si tratta di sensori che vengono realizzati tramite semiconduttori prodotti con ossidi di metallo drogati. Nel campo dei semiconduttori significa che vengono aggiunte piccole percentuali di atomi esterni, allo scopo di modificare le propriet\u00e0 elettroniche del materiale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Al contrario di quanto abbiamo visto per i PTC, con i&nbsp;termistori&nbsp;NTC&nbsp;la resistenza diminuisce con l\u2019aumentare della temperatura. Si tratta di un principio che venne scoperto da&nbsp;<em>Michael Faraday<\/em>&nbsp;(1791 \u2013 1867) nel 1833, che not\u00f2 che la resistenza del solfuro d\u2019argento diminuiva drasticamente con l\u2019aumentare della temperatura. Ma in quegli anni la produzione di un simile sensore era molto complicata e costosa, cos\u00ec la loro commercializzazione massiva inizi\u00f2 solamente dopo il 1930, quando&nbsp;<em>Samuel Ruben<\/em>&nbsp;(1900 \u2013 1988) invent\u00f2 e brevett\u00f2 il termistore&nbsp;NTC&nbsp;in una versione simile a quella che conosciamo oggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"516\" src=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NTCNTCR-1024x516.jpg\" alt=\"ntc\" class=\"wp-image-12946\" style=\"width:768px;height:387px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NTCNTCR-1024x516.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NTCNTCR-300x151.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NTCNTCR-768x387.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rdcomponents.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/NTCNTCR.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Termistori NTC: Caratteristiche tecniche<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Il modo in cui la resistenza di un termistore diminuisce \u00e8 correlato a una costante, nota nell&#8217;industria dei&nbsp;termistori&nbsp;come beta (\u03b2). Il beta \u00e8 misurato in gradi Kelvin ed indica l\u2019arco di temperatura in cui \u00e8 valida la tolleranza. Normalmente questo intervallo di tempo va da 25\u00b0C a 85\u00b0C e il valore di resistenza che il sensore avr\u00e0 in relazione alle due diverse temperature contribuir\u00e0 a determinare il valore finale di Beta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\">Un altro valore che \u00e8 fondamentale per identificare la curva di un&nbsp;NTC \u00e8 la \u201cResistenza nominale\u201d.
